Hi WIG Friends.
the YouTube algorithm that powers my timeline periodically serves up some videos like this one .. and of course, I looked and have (in a tribute to just how well the darn bit of math works) made a bit of a study of this.
and I'm not approaching this from the 'this swing bad' perspective - but rather - a bit of reverse engineering and learning theory .. 'how did he get here' ??
I started playing a little game with this called..
'Spot the Swing Thoughts' ..
I can pick out at least 3..
and while I can't tell exactly from the video - the golfer appears to make pretty decent contact and hits a respectable shot..
anyway - I don't seek to talk about this from a standpoint of snarkiness - but from a center of .. 'been there' to some degree .. and it's never all in the past.
we could and can approach this in WIG terms as a case of 'trying to hit the ball' .. and potentially taking this golfer to a place of 'feeling the weight' might lead him to some breakthroughs -
and as 'He Who Must Abide' might suggest, it could also be about 'finding his intention' ..
right now the 'intention' .. or 'swing thought one' is 'get some width in my takeaway'..
any takers on 'swing thought 2' as it exists??
and if you were on the Lesson Tee - and you're billing out XX$$ per hour and he's asking you for help - where do you start?
cheers for now
